Treatment for Anxiety

Here are some examples of what clinical anxiety can look like in a person's life:

  • Excessive worry.
  • Sleep disturbances due to anxiety.
  • Desperate avoiding of places, persons, or things that provoke anxiety.
  • Sudden attacks of panic or anxiety.
  • Physical tension in response to anxiety.
  • Difficulty concentrating or focusing.

Anxiety is a natural process within your nervous system that clues you in to possible threats in your environment. However, when the threats become so small, or non-existent, so that anxiety is unwarranted, this instinctual response is no longer helpful. There are a number of evidenced-based techniques that we will use to address this concern. Working together, we can help you heal passed your symptoms of anxiety.

How Therapy Can Help

  • Strategize to eliminate unnecessary stressors in your life.
  • Resolve past and presence issues that contribute to anxiety.
  • Reduce negative self-talk and behaviors.

  • Challenge unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety.
  • Determine strategies for a healthier, more satisfying future.
